  “For someone who has never backpacked in their life but has a keen want to, this was a brilliant guide. Nicely written and very factual. It gives you a basic overview of everything you need to know and some really good tips on different aspects of your trip including tipping and first aid.
  
  Obviously some bits where geared more towards Americans but it was nicely balanced to include other cultures too. Personal preference will always come into play so this isn't a 100% guide to what exactly you should do but it's definitely a great place to start”
