“These books are impossible to find. Yet, I managed. And of course, read it in one sitting and was forced to wait weeks for a book I knew was so close.
This is the second book in the Lux series and it’s all about Katy and Daemon’s flirtationship-not a friendship, not a relationship. They’re now connected because Daemon healed her after the big battle where Katy killed the Arum at the end of Obsidian. Now, they’re in love… if you can call it that. This book is completely devoted to Daemon proving his love for Katy and avoiding the DOD. Well, there’s also Blake. Awful, awful Blake. He’s an okay guy, he’s normal. And then he’s completely not normal in every sense of the word. He’s a hybrid, just like Katy, and he says he can train her. God, she should have listened to Daemon.
However, she’s Katy, and going against what Daemon wants is kinda her specialty. So she lets him train her. Biggest mistake ever. By the time she realizes it, it’s too late. He’s betrayed her. A life for a life right? The end of this book was to die for. And I think I did. Just a little. Okay, a lot. Oh, how I hate them! I loathe, despise, and detest the DOD. And Will. Talk about a new character.
