I truly can't believe so few people here have this book!
Yes, it's glossy, yes it has lots of pictures, but the writer is Felipe Fernandez-Armesto, for goodness sake! You are getting one of the BEST writers out there, and as a result I could not put this book down, literally!
A truly magnificent triumph of a book. Ideas, indeed.
