Mental Illness, Depression 160 books / 114 members / 84 posts I have this interest in books on mental illness, depression, psychology -- I don't realy know why exactly, I have to search quite a bit to find books on this subject on audible.com, but I have just started a short list -- just wondering if anyone else has this interest and what books you have read or want to read on the topic.

2. This is a non-denominational, inter-denominational group, but its members must be believing Christians, see Romans 10: 9-10.
3. If a member believes another member is "astray" in their beliefs first pray about it and then second follow Galations 6: 1-6 as a guide.
4. Remember we are to be representatives of Christ Jesus in what we say, in how we act, and also react.
5. God does not need us to argue His case before others.

This group was made private by request of others in the Shelfari community that felt the need to have a safe place, we forget there are many Christian's that are going through some kind of a crisis, or maybe even abuse in their lives, and they just want to be in a safe and welcome place. Because it is a private group, it is a place of refuge where we can talk about anything that is on our hearts: what it means to be a woman, contemporary matters of faith, the world ... anything! While we love our neighbors of other faiths, this is not a place to debate religion.

We will also be reading a book as a group every two months and will hopefully have a lively discussion. We will alternate between God-honoring fiction and non-fiction and select bestselling books from both the mainstream and Christian circles. This is a democracy, so I will will not be choosing the books... we will vote on them as a group.
