• Samantha "Sam" Reed: Main Character. Her mother is Grace Reed, the Senator of a small Connecticut town.She watches the Garrett's from her window because she finds them interesting. There's one Garret that keeps her attention....
• Jason "Jase" Garrett: His family is the Reed's next door neighbor. Third child of the Garretts He is the forbidden boy. He is fix it savvy.
• Nan Mason: Samantha's best friend. Is good at everything she does. Surprisingly isn't a huge character in the book.
• Tim Mason: Nan's brother is involved with drugs and alcohol, is the complete opposite of Nan. But in the end of the book, he's sworn of drugs and alcohol (but still uses cigarettes), and isn't a complete a**hole. He helps Sam with the incident.
• Grace Reed (Senator Reed): Samatha's mother senator of their small town. Depises her next door neighbors the Garretts. She thinks that they have a too-big family, just like all the other shoppers at the Grocery store.
• Joel Garrett: He is the oldest Garret boy. Owns a motorcycle that Jase has to fix a lot.
• Alice Garrett: She is the second oldest Garrett. Cares deeply about he siblings.
• Andy Garrett: Add a description of this character.
• Duff Garrett: He is the fifth child.
• Harry Garrett: He is the sixth child.
• George Garrett: He is the seventh Garrett. Does not believe in clothes. The funniest little kid ever. Takes everything seriously.
• Patsy Garrett: She is the youngest child. Her first word was boob.
• Mrs.Garrett: Mother of Joel, Alice, Jase, Andy, Duff, Harry, George, and Patsy.Doesn't care about all the rude comments she gets when she goes to the Grocery Store.
• Mr.Garrett: Father of Joel, Alice, Jase, Andy, Duff, Harry, George, and Patsy. Owns Garrett Hardware.
• Clay Tucker: The idiot Sam's mom is dating. Helps her politically.Tells Sam's mom to keep on driving when they crash into Mr.Garrett.
