I chose this one because of the cover, it makes me think of the movies the Grudge and the Ring. My first thoughts were that this was going to be a book about ghosts or time travel but it's not. Julie, the female lead is having survivor's guilt because she feels it is her fault that her friend Monica died in a freak accident while she was driving. She withdraws from everyone at home and school and becomes a sad, angry person, until the hot guy in school Evan takes an interest in her that somehow pulls her out of her funk. Julia is curious as to why Evan is now interested in her and when she finds out, it will change her world, literally. This story was interesting and the concept is good. There was for me a what the freak is going on moment and Evan just seems creepy and clingy. Julia can come off as bit infuriating at times, but the overall story was good. My curiosity in how this series will turn out has me ready for the next on
