I would also have students take a well known fairy tale and create a fractured fairytale of their own. Students could rewrite the fairy tale from another point of view, change aspects of the story, etc.”

I really need to buy a copy to keep on my bookshelf. I remember it being fun, whimsical, silly, and completely different from all of the other childrens books I read! ”

My students will create their own story or make their own ending to a classic fairy tale of their choice. Students can alter the characters, story ending, setting, or place. The can create a book adaption based upon their chosen fairy tale. ”

Allow students to create their own story or make their own ending to a classic fairy tale of their choice. Once they choose their favorite tale, they can decide how they want to alter the ending or change the story in its entirety.”
