It kinda gets repetitive, in a way. She finds a suspect, discovers they are not guilty, then repeat. It was this way with Pretty Little Liars too for about 8 or 9 (not sure anymore) books. I'll bet that in the end, it'll be revealed that Emma and Sutton were actually from a set of triplets and that the third sister is the murderer. It would be a lot like Pretty Little Liars that way.. way to be original. I don't know. Would Shepard do something like that again? I'm still putting my bet on that ending.

    3 1/2 stars.

This book, installment #4 in The Lying Game series was a big improvement over book #3. After the third book I decided I would give book 4 a chance, but if it was just as terrible as the third, I was not continuing with the series. This one still followed the same drab outline where Emma suspects someone, looks for clues to prove they killed Sutton, and then finds out they are innocent. While this book still followed that formula, it was slightly different in that she had two suspects, not just one in this installment. That helped speed things up and we also found out some more information about the twins and the Mercers that we didn't know until now. Big improvement even if it was still pretty formulaic.
