Great book...as for your information, the offspring of Krakatoa ,or "Krakatau" as Indonesian prefered, has become active this recent weeks (Oct 2007). Many volcanos in The Archipelago are becoming active (in Java and Sulawesi recently) and threaten the life of human living near them. Anyway, this book will show you that nature plays an important roles in shaping human history.
