- Alexis Anderson: Television hostess for a decorating show. She moves to Salt Lake City to begin a new life with her kids after her marriage totally and completely failed. Booooooo!!!!
- Kyle Miller: Author of the acclaimed "Jared Strong" Novels. He lives right next door to Alexis and destroys the snowman she built on the lawn (to find out if a murder weapon can be hidden inside).
- Kelly Miller: Kyle's father. He is unable to let go his wife’s death which haunts the Christmas Holidays every year since then.
- Keefe Miller: Kyle's brother, married with Alyssa.
