Characters edit see section history

  • Annabeth Chase: Annabeth is a daughter of Athena. She arrived at Camp Half-blood at age seven with a boy named Luke son of Hermes who would eventually betray hear and Thalia daughter of Zeus. Annabeth is dating Percy Jackson son of Poseidon. Her mother told her to follow the Mark of Athena to save the Athena Parthenos. Annabeth is a very intelligent girl (probably because her mom is the goddess of wisdom, obviously) and is in charge of the quest to lead six other demigods to save Rome from destruction.
  • Percy Jackson: Percy is Poseidon's son and an extremely powerful demigod, even though he doesn't brag about it. He defeated the titan Kronos when he was only sixteen and turned down Zues's offer to make him a god so he could stay with Annabeth. Percy is dating Athena's daughter now and they were seperated a couple months ago. Now his is on a quest with another six demigods to save Rome. Percy, like other Greek demigods, went to Camp Half-blood. He arrived there at age twelve led by a satyr named Grover who is also his best friend.
  • Piper McLean: Piper is the daughter of Aphrodite and Tristan McLean (a famous movie star). She has brown hair, multi-colored changing eyes, and can charmspeak people/objects (make them do whatever she says). Piper is also half Cherokee, and grew up with the Native American myths from her father and grandfather. She is dating Jason Grace. Piper went straight to the Greek camp when she was found (along with Jason and Leo), and became leader of the Aphrodite cabin.
  • Leo Valdez: Leo is a son of Hephaestus. He is also a fire user which means that he can create and withstand fire. Ironically, he lost his mother to a freak accident where her workshop burst into flames. He is a prankster and once (on accident) he changed all the billboards in times square to say-- ALL DA LADIES LUV LEO! -- He is very sarcastic, and (kinda) likes Hazel, which complicates the whole love web.
  • Reyna: Praetor of Camp Jupiter. Daughter of Bellona (Roman goddess of war; no Greek equivalent). Sister of Hylla, the Amazon queen. She fights with a dagger. Wants to believe the Greek demigods are friends.
  • Nico Di Angelo: Nico is the son of Hades, and also the half brother of Hazel (who he brought out of the Fields of Asphodel, out of the Underworld). He journeyed to find and close the Doors of Death but was captured by Gaea's forces. He stayed at Camp Half-Blood for a short period of time until his sister, Bianca, was killed. Now he alternates between the Romanand Greek camps.
  • Gaea: The Greek Earth mother. Gaea is awakening and is stirring her sons, (the Giants, but not the football team), into chaos. She is the real enemy the Seven demigods of the Prophecy must defeat. She is not the Mother Earth many believe her to be. Also needs to be kept "asleep", or she will destroy the world, for she is easily more powerful than all of the gods combined.
  • Octavian: Octavian is an Apollo Legacy which means that he is the descendant of an Apollo demigod. He can be very jealous and vengeful. He doesn't seem like a very powerful person because of his over-haughty personality and unimpressive appearance, but he would make a very bad enemy. Reads prophecies from stuffed animals and murders teddy bears, which actually makes him a haruspex not an auger, as the book says. He is from the Roman camp. He doesn't believe uniting the Greek and Roman camps together is a good idea. When in battle he is always hiding behind his huge body guards.
  • Frank Zhang: Frank is a son of Mars (Ares) and a distant descendant of Poseidon. He prefers to fight with a bow and arrow while his father prefers a spear. His brave mother died in Afghanistan, for she was in the military. He can change into any animal he wants at any given time. His life is tied to a piece of wood, and if it burns up he will die. Frank is Hazel's boyfriend, and goes to the Roman camp.
  • Hazel Levesque: Hazel is a daughter of Pluto and can summon any kind of precious metal, for her mother accidentily cursed her with it and Pluto is known for it a little (she thinks Percy is the son of Neptune destined to free her from her curse). She is dating Frank. Her half brother is Nico (his dad is Hades, Pluto's Greek form). She has a horse named Arion (rescued during her encounter with Amazons). She fights with a spatha, a Roman cavalry sword. Hazel was originally born in the early nine-teen hundreds, and died at age 13 to stop Alcyeonus, a giant, from rising. She then went to the Fields of Asphodel for seventy years until Nico took her out of the underworld, around a year before the Greeks came with the warship.
  • Jason Grace: Jason is the son of Jupiter (the Roman form of Zeus). He is Thalia Grace's long lost brother. He was one of the praetors of the Twelfth Legion. He has wind powers and can summon lightning. He is dating Piper McLean. He was one of the two demigods involved in the camp-switcheroo (Percy being the other). Since he can control the winds, he can will the air to make him fly. Sadly his sister Thalia has never tried so she doesn't think she can (because she's scared of heights).
  • Blackjack: Percy's black Pegasus. Saved from Luke Castellan on the monster cruise ship (I mean monster as in there are hundreds of monsters on it) in book two of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Always asks Percy if he can have a donut because this Pegasus loves donuts. Helps Percy out whenever Percy needs him. Whenever Percy and the Pegasus meet, Blackjack likes to start the conversation by saying "Yo boss," to Percy.
  • Tempest: Tempest is Jason Grace's ventus. Jason tamed him in the battle of the wolf house. Tempest is Jason's companion but he is a free spirit (so he comes when he chooses).
  • Coach Hedge: Coach Hedge is a satyr who has accompanied Leo, Jason, and Piper on their quest. He is battle crazy, but is a loyal Keeper for Camp Half-Blood. He loves destruction and action, and always wants to bash something, sometimes resulting in an unwanted catastrophe. Since he likes chaotic stuff and killing enemies, he is known for randomly swinging his club yelling, "Die!", when anything unexpected happens.
  • Narcissus: Son of Nemesis, he is really handsome and his mother put a curse on him so he fell in love with his reflection. He was cursed because he broke too many hearts in ancient Greek times, which angered some people...
  • Echo: A nymph who fell in love with Narcissus who blends in with her surroundings, and is cursed to repeat the last thing she hears. Wants to save Narcissus from himself because he was cursed by Nemesis to fall in love with hi reflection.
  • Arachne: The spider goddess cursed by Athena (Athena turned her into a spider for challenging her). Wants the gods to see her tapestries. Challenged Athena to a weaving contest (and, according to Athena, lost).
  • Keto: The goddess of sea monsters. She works in an aquarium with Phorcys (her brother )
  • Phorcys: One of the gods of the sea. He works in an aquarium, which has part of it dedicated to different mythological aquatic species. Is married to and brother of Keto another water goddess. Son of Gaea, and has inherited some of her evilness.
  • Hera: Hera was the Greek queen of the Gods; she was Goddess of Marriage, Women, and Birth. She is married to Zeus. Her roman name is Juno. She is responsible for Percy's and Jason's memory loss
  • Lord Bacchus: The Roman version of Dionysus and just as arrogant and stubborn. A little less of a potbelly, though.
  • Dakota: A son Bacchus, who has a red Kool-Aid addiction, and is a senior officer in the legion.
  • Ella: Is a harpy that Percy, hazel, and frank found .
