The ending truly blows you away and personally, I think it is one of Rick Riordan's best books in the series. It leaves you hanging by a thread and wanting more.

“I've said it before and I'll say it again -- I love Rick Riordan's sense of humor and wonderful characters. This book is filled with both, but in particular, Coach Hedge is a hoot. Fair warning to those who read this book -- it ends with a bit of a cliff hanger. ”

Yes | No“The Mark of Athena is a really good book and I'd recommend this to anyone who has read the rest of the series, and to people who like Annabeth. In this book, Annabeth's mission has something to do with something no Athenian has ever accomplished. There is lots of suspense!”
