Excellent. Felt really...real to me. Like I kept thinking, 'yeah this seems like how people I know actually talk and act and stuff...' Yep, very good stuff.

I loved this book. It was brilliantly written and captured my attention at all moments. I can imagine what the Gold sisters are going through because of how well Maureen Johnson captivates the moment. I could picture the scenary and the characters. It was an interesting read. It had the full range of emotions going on in it as well. Some parts I wanted to cry(mostly the beginning), and others I wanted to laugh.
Overall, an excellent read worthy of recommendations.

The Key to the Golden Firebird was a very different concept than what I've read I thought this book was alright, but not good at all. If you are a person who can't get along with your siblings or are very different from your siblings, this would be for you. It is a story of three sisters grieving over their dead dad and learning to live life with their different results. I didn't find it affecting me, but I have living parents and just a little brother so I couldn't relate to the situation. I just didn't care for the characters or the story.

A really cute read about having to go through the hardship of having a parent die. Sometimes I hated the way May acted in the books but then again sometimes I hate the way I act so that is realistic in that aspect. Hard to put down. Another work of art from Maureen Johnson.

Great book that explains how SO many teenage girls have no clue what's really going on in their life.
