  “Visually stunning thanks to Dave McKean's artwork. However, I was left wanting much more out of this graphic novel. I felt the story didn't really go anywhere. Not one of my favourites from Neil Gaiman - but it is worth it for the artwork.”

  “This is my favorite of Neil Gaiman's comic works. The art is so lovely and strange, and the story so layered. I've read it several times and still feel like I haven't exhausted everything lying below the surface. That depth, combined with the haunting, perfect prose, raise this to the level of high art.”
