It's about a young boy in a small town who is tempted with everlasting youth and power if he becomes part of the cast of the Theatre of the Real. Of course that would mean living the rest of eternity as a puppet in the Showman's world.

Steven is faced with temptation after temptation and has to either overcome them or succumb to them. Michael Zulli, the artist is another favorite of mine. He manages to bring the disturbing nature of the theatre into the story with a brilliant subtlety at first, then with increasing horror. I enjoyed this on a lot. Plus, who doesn't like Alice Cooper? hehe ;-)
