Gibson has a way of making the future both slick and beautiful, while keeping it dirty, pock marked, and DANGEROUS. I wouldn’t mind hanging out at Cognizant Dissidents for a while, either. A fun read. ”

It's a story about a pair of sunglasses - which proves that Gibson is an absolute master - hell he could make anything interesting. But of course it's about so much more than just sunglasses. It's set in a vivid and interesting world, with an intricate plot. Super stuff.”

Soon you find the bridge, there, in incredible detail, fleshed out by your imagination; it almost takes on a life of its own outside the novels.”

William Gibson creates great worlds and writes great places to visit. He can't finish a story to save his life but his books are strong enough to stand up to even that usually fatal flaw. Mush of thebook was borrowed by the Johnny Mnemonic movie, like the bridge.”
