I read this a week before tackling Gibson's 'Spook Country'. For me, I'm consistently amazed with his foresight, along with his ability to intimately engage readers with the characters involved. Gibson avoids many "sci-fi" pitfalls, weaving together a smart (brilliant?), uniquely complex story. I'd gladly give it 10 stars, if possible.

Too shallow and has a cheesy Hollywood ending. Ultimately quite boring really. Not impressed.

This book is so multifaceted that you feel like you are chasing your own taile for a bit there. Then at the end you aren't quite sure if you completely got it. I loved it.
