It is very informative, covers a complicated subject like OSs, but in very simple to follow English.
It is a must read for any one interested in the analogy between MS Windows, MacOS, and Linux. Fantastic!”“This is one of my favorite books. Neal has a style of writing that's really enjoyable. The analogies in this book are great.”

“as a linux lover this book speaks to me as only stephenson can, but this time about something i know as much about as he does, and still, his analogies are wondrous and his wordplay fantastic. yes, i'm a fanboy. you won't like this unless you're kinda anti-establishment and geeky.”
