After reading so many Virginia Henley novels, the characters and story lines seem to be all the same. But a few did stand out: 'Enslaved', which I loved for the time period it's set in (early AD). 'Desired', which had memorable characters. 'The Border Hostage', because I'm crazy for anything Scottish. And 'The Pirate and The Pagan', because it was one of her more lengthy novels, and who doesn't love pirates?!
