The best error in this book:

    "walking the planes"

How does one walk airplanes? Do they need leashes like my dog? I think the author meant "plains" as in Great Plains rather than planes. :)

Whoever edited this book, as the rest of the series, should be ashamed due to incorrect verbiage and misspellings. I certainly hope the author didn't pay for the edit job as it really detracts from the quality of the story.

The story is strong and I really like the main characters. I'm really saddened by what Mike did toward the end for the big fight and what he gave up as it didn't seem like something I would have expected. Then again, he's a Marine and they sometimes think a little differently than the rest of the general population. Mark Tufo has a genuine gift at story telling and I will be certain to follow up and find more of his books.

A solid read, and I can recommend it if you're not a grammar and spelling freak.

Kindel. This series is staying verg strong. Mike makes a dark choice to save his family. A weakness is found for Eliza. Tommy becomes an unknown. And Henery lives thru another hero moment. 4 stars.

Series gets off track, I think the author is trying to milk the cash cow. But, maybe he is going to "totally redeem" himself in the next book. Who is to say?
