  “I had a love-hate relationship with this novel. After I had started reading it, I wanted to know what was going to happen to the main character, but I did not love this book. Bad things just kept happening, and bad people just kept benefitting. I wanted to abandon the book, but I just hoped it would get better. Not my favorite book.”

  “Free book for Kindle. Was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the book a lot. A young girl lives with her abusive mother and is raped by her stepbrother. This sets in motion a chain of events that changes the course of all the lives involved. Through it all the main character finds the only one she can turn to is her stepfather.”

  “Hard to believe one one girl can endure so much drama. Got to be a bit much but I did enjoy Twig the character & the twists and turns throughout. Enjoyable overall...”
