This was a really good sequel, or second installment of a trilogy. It built on the premises set up in Unwind, and also was able to build on the characters and plot line. The story added more of the history and backstory, so you go on feeling like more of a part of the story. The new characters introduced fit well into the plot and into the story.

The continuing story of Connor, Risa and Lev takes the reader to new, surprizing places, and adds new places and characters to the mix. I found the new additions of Cam Comprix and Starkey, and bringing Nelson into the story added to the story without distracting from the story. I also enjoyed the addition of Miracolina and her interactions with Lev. I cannot wait for Book 3 !

Another excellent installment into the Unwind story. This is intelligent writing that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book. My only complaint is the amount of "bad guys" in this. It made me very upset and frustrated as I read. But the story is soso good that it forced me to keep reading. I pretty much knew where the characters would end up, but I didn't know the stories behind how they'd get there. I'm definitely primed for reading the next book in the series. I hope Shusterman doesn't wait as long to write it as he did with UnWholly.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Shusterman turned Unwind into a series. The first book was good enough to stand alone, but the sequel really drives the question of the value of human life. Is one truly worth more than another and who gets to decide? As black market organs become more and more available, could a future like the one in this series, be far off?

I was so excited to read this, am now disappointed. I feel like the story would have better ended at the conclusion of the last book. This new Cam character is disturbing. I don't like what happens with the Graveyard. I was simply bummed by the book. I won't be reading the last of this trilogy, as this book ruined Unwind for me. I gave it 3 ★s, as I still like the main characters.

This book was so stressful to read! It was really good but the suspense just about killed me. I really loved sitting down and reading it though because it was just so thrilling and mysterious and Shusterman is just such a great writer. He makes you feel like you are inside the book. And what he did with the point of views just tied this entire thing together. It was thrilling to read and I totally recommend reading it.

Some interesting new characters, events and possible scenarios introduced. A good bridge from the beginning to a hopefully exciting ending. I am anxious to see how Neal Shusterman will resolve the story.

Great follow-up to Unwind, about a future where unruly teenagers are harvested for their body parts. The story picks up and moves right along, shifting between various characters without being confusing. Can't wait for the thrilling conclusion.

The amazing sequel to Unwind. This book continues to disturb me as I can see our current society taking a path such as this as our own social values and morals get twisted. This book reveals more about the resistance (or lack thereof) and why society is so tolerant of a practice most of us would be sickened by. Can't wait to get the third book.
