  “I could care less about the furor over the reality of this project's scholarly qualities, or lack thereof. I'm so taken by this idea, and especially by these selected 'sayings' and their proposed history of being spread by small, hospitable, itinerant groups of men and women, that it seems impossible not to view the early church as just that: folks who spread Christ's teachings through sharing; nothing more, nothing less. Haunting.”
