Johnson Tuberculosis Hospital is the center of this story. It is a derelict building that was built in 1911 to house and care for people diagnosed with "consumption" as tuberculosis was then known. Once diagnosed they were required to stay for 3-5 years before they could be released or they died. The building could house 100 patients.
