“I've tried to read this twice and it's just too slow and boring. (Now's the time for speed reading!!) If I can ever get to the end, I might raise it a star, but even if the end is spectacular, it's no excuse to bore the reader. After the first three books being so good and the rest being good, this was a big disappointment. Jordan has a wonderful command of the language, but it wasn't enough. I can't find the plot. Nothing seems to be happening.”

“When ever I get hold of one of these books I just wish that time would stand still so that I could do nothing but read the book! This is definitely among the best fantasy I've ever read.”

“The ENDLESS wheel of time. Spare yourself. It was right about here that I decided I'd had enough. It's a shame, because the first half-dozen books in this series are really good. Maybe one of us should just write our own conclusion to the series ("The wheel of time meets a brick wall", or some such). :-)”
