Once again, a great discussion. Whether or not folks liked the book per se, and there were feelings both ways, it sparked lively discussion. The consensus seemed to be: Some well-crafted, pithy thoughts were in each chapter, followed by restating and repetition of the same thought. Not a lot of depth after the original idea. We did, however, find meaning in the stories of our own lives suggested by Quindlan's writing.
