This series, along with Tad Williams' Dragonbone Chair trilogy, are the best that fantasy has to offer. They are both 'top tier' storys right up there with LOTR. How in the world they wrap this series up in one book is beyond my comprehension. My only knock on the EOTW series is some of the middle books didn't advance the story fast enough...or as fast as the early books did. Still, Jordan created some of the best characters....Go Matrim!

This particular title now has 18 "casts" posted at Storycasting (www.storycasting.com), with the most recent just yesterday. Anne Hathaway
currently is the concensus favorite for Egwene al'Vere. Come take a look and share who YOU see in "the movie in your mind".

I've been planning to re-read the entire series, too, but I haven't had the time what with all the other amazing books I still need to read. Good for you for putting forth the effort!

I just finished my first re-read of the Wheel of Time, and it made so much more sense, than fifteen years ago. There is so much prophecy and background in that one book that sets the stage for the next eleven books. A re read is a definite must to be able to fully grasp these characters lives and goals and plots, before the twelve and final books is released.

This is absolutely the best fantasy series ever...and im sayin that after reading LOTR and other stuff....jus loved the way the set up the characters..unfortunately he passed away before he could complete the series. nevertheless the job has been passed down to "Brandon Senderson" who said that he didnt have much to do since R.J had already written the ending of the book himself and had kept various audio records of what he wanted written in the final venture.

As he himself said once, "Life is a dream, and all dreams must come to an end". R.I.P oliver james rigney A.K.A Robert jordan.
