“In the overall story (12 or 13 books) I'm a little less than half way through. I still find the female characters to be petulant and and annoying but, considering their culture, it's understandable - even necessary to the story line. Still... I'm surprised when they get away with the crap that they pull. They all act like preteen girls with no manners all need a major spanking. ”

“It took a while, but this part is great. The story takes some unexpected turns. For example about Moireane and Brigitte. Too bad that there was nothing about Perrin in the story. Also it was hard to remember persons like Masema, introduced in part 2.”

“I muddled my way through this. That's about the nicest thing I can say for it. Long, drawn out. The series bogs down here and gets worse in the next one, but if you can trudge through it gets better.”
