“A family sage spanning a few generations from Transylvania to NYC. An interesting peek into the life of Hasidic Jews. One sister stays in the faith while the other denounces it and "disappears" until she is needed at the end of the book. I enjoyed this book a lot and found I could not put it down ... fascinating.”
