Spy Fiction. This hotly anticipated debut features secret lives, double-crosses galore, a large amount of stolen Euros, and the on-the-money suspicions of a former CIA field agent turned stay-at-home expat mom in Luxembourg. Seems like an odd mix, perhaps, but Kate Moore is a hero to root for, a woman who has never told her somewhat nerdy husband Dexter that the reason she missed dates was not overtime at the office but wet work in South America. But now the appearance of another expat couple has her wondering if there's something that Dexter isn't telling her, and if this couple is all they appear to be. Fans of the great spy authors, like John le Carré, Eric Ambler, and Robert Ludlum, will delight in this "brilliant, insanely clever, and delectably readable" novel (Library Journal).
