Just completed the 2nd book in this series! Thus far SM Reine has yet to disappoint me in her writing skills. I have really loved these 1st two books in the series & can't wait to finish the series. I love the different approach on werewolves!!

I think the same of this book as I do with the first. Unfortunately two things. 1st - I purchased this book along with the first book because a lot of the reviews on Amazon were good reviews stating they were anticipating the second book. Well, I didn't like the first book and would NOT have even started reading this second one. 2nd - thing, I didn't finish this book because it just isn't written very well. The actual storyline is a good one. But all the gore and inconsistencies and things that just don't make much sense is too overwhelming for me to keep going. Not to mention that right off the bat she has Rylie not be able to remember anything from Werewolf to Human. WHAT?! She just finished the first book by saying she felt as if the Werewolf part of her was the same Human part of her and could remember everything. (Again, Inconsistencies.) This is not a good thing to have in your book(s) let alone start it off that way.

I am sorry to say, I would not recommend this book. And if you do decided to read it, you should be at least 17 years of age.

This book was really enjoyable. Reine has gotten the pacing of story telling down. It kept me reading until the middle of the night. The characters, at least the two main characters seemed more real. The other characters need work and sometimes the attempts to build mystery fell flat. But overall, this book was better than the first.

The story of a teen who has been bitten and becomes a werewolf. this second book in the series is so much better than the first. I could really connect with the characters, especially Rylie, as she became much more dimensional.
