• Miss Louisa Clark: Chatty and sweet, Louisa has been living in the same small English village her whole life. 26 years old. Has a flair for fashion and dresses somewhat eccentrically.Worked as a waitress at a local diner until it closed down. Took job as a caregiver because she wasn't qualified for anything else.
• Mr William Traynor: C5-6 Quadriplegic (spinal cord injury). Former CEO of a company.Handsome, smart, very athletic in his past. Louisa is his caregiver. 35 years old.
• Nathan: Will's medical caregiver (nurse).
• Mrs Camilla Traynor: Magistrate. Mother of Willian Traynor. Hires Louisa to boost Will's spirit and make sure that he is never alone.
• Steven Traynor: Will's father. Keeper of the the castle. He's having an affair, but he won't leave his wife because of Will's accident.
• Bernard Clark: Factory worker, father of Louisa.
• Josie Clark: Louisa's mother.
• Treena: Louisa's sister (Katrina). Got pregnant out of wedlock. Raising Thomas as a single mother. The "smart" one in the family. Going to college. 18 months younger than Louisa.
