Didn’t Like It“I keep stopping and starting this book. It is one big rambling complaint about life with severe anxiety. Nothing on how to cope or get better. As someone with anxiety I know this is possible.” see full review » see other reviews » |
“Wow. This was fascinating as my mind does not work this way. The complexity of anxiety is dumb founding and exhausting. For me, it is always worth while to learn more how other people work, and what their experiences are so that I can be more understanding and patient. Celebrate diversity. Anyway, it wasn't as funny as I hoped. It seemed very realistic. I am super thankful that I haven't had that monkey on my back (ha, ha, bad pun intended) my whole life.”
“Fun to read about LI and Boston but started making me anxious.”

The storyteller, although regarded in the literary world, he didn't really grab my attention and that's OK as this happens from time to time. As with any work, it is open for interpretation!”
