- Evelyn "Evie": Lead character. Was taken in by the IPCA when she was younger because she could see through Glamours...a unique gift. Is an Empty One, which means she can suck out paranormal souls.
- Lend Pirello: Evie's boyfriend, immortal, going to college. Sometimes this causes strain in their relationship, he is very grounded though.
- David Pirello: Former member of IPCA, Lends father, he now helps out paranormals that come into his town. Both him and Lend are against IPCA.
- Raquel: Director of IPCA, played the motherly role in Evie's childhood.
- Arianna: A vampire that is also Evie's friend, lives with Evie as her roommate. Plays her online game and is moody most of the time.
- Vivian: Evie's 'sister' she is also the only other Empty One, visits Evie in her dreams.
- Carlee: Evie's non-paranormal best friend from school.
- Reth: Evie's creepy, faerie, ex-boyfriend. Has had many failed attempts to keep Evie for himself.
