• Emma: Heroine. Lives in New Jersey. Female lead. Falls in love with Galen.
• Galen: Prince of Syrena. Male Lead. Is instructed to find Emma and falls in love with her. Is the Human ambassador for Syrena and trusts very few humans. Is a millionaire. Was suppose to have found a mate, but he didn't find anyone suitable enough until he met Emma. Said to have "the pull" with Emma, meaning they are destined to be together forever!
• Chloe: Emma's friend. Lives in New Jersey.
• Rayna: Galen's sister. Has fiery temper and can come off as very rude. Plays hard to get when she finds out her and Toraf are mated.
• Toraf: A tracker, Galen's best friend and Rayna's mate.
• Grom: Galen's brother. The New King of Triton. Searching for a mate. Was previously mated to Nalia, now Emma's mom, until she "supposedly" died in an accident. Said to have "the pull" with Nalia, meaning they are destined to be together forever.
• Nalia: King Antonis's daughter. Dies in a mine explosion.
• Rachel: The human who helps Galen out. Galen's human assistant who controls all his money for him. She pretends to be his guardian and takes care/ teaches him and his sister about the human world.
• Romul: An Archive and Galen's mentor.
• Jagen: King of Antonis. Evil and deceptive.
• Paca: Jagen's daughter. Evil and deceptive, just like her father.
• Dr. Milligan: Marine biologist, who Galen helped escape a ship wreck. Now is one of Galen's trusted humans who spies on his colleagues and runs tests on Galen for information. Dr. Milligan also runs Gulfarium.
