These books are always great. If you love a mystery, a little history, and Sam Spade in a toga, with a dash of Miss Marple bravdo...read it.

If you're REALLY into Greek history in double-digit A.D. era then you'll love this book. Much more history lessons than story. This is the only Marcus Didius Falco novel I've read but believe this is not where one should start. It gives many hints of past occasions between these characters- like you're missing out on something. . . . The book blurbs say it's suppossed to be funny; so either I'm an ignoramus or this book isn't funny. Not even crack a smile funny.
