I've worked in a nursing home for 20 years and I always knew this generation would bring something different to long-term care. While there are some hilarious and some poignant moments, after the old people took over the assisted living center I quickly felt like the story became cartoonish and slap stick. The main character was the only one that was likeable. I could easily see this book as a bad Ben Stiller movie. ”

Story in not too distant future about former radicals from the 60's taking over their nursing care facility. Poignant commentary on how the elderly are treated in the US, with a number of humorous characters throughout the story.”
