“Essentially this is a book about a young American missionary on a journey...both physically and spiritually. Vincent Saunders, recently graduated from college, embarks on a mission trip to Taiwan to teach English and Christianity. An incident motivates Vincent to reconsider a Taiwanese businessman's job offer to travel to a faraway mainland Chinese city to marry a girl and transport her out of the country and divorce her so that the businessman can marry her. Although it seems easy enough, it is not without problems for him physically, emotionally and spiritually. ”
