This is an excellent articulation of how a minority culture, Native American, has experienced and continues to experience the dominant White culture here in the U.S. and how difficult it is, as a white person, to really hear and understand that.

A very spiritual and eye-opening journey . I actually felt as if I was on those forgotten roads . there is a lot of wisdom within these pages .

This book was an excellent and informative read. If you are interested in Native Americans and their struggle from the past to the present this book has insights I haven't seen in others. The people that you meet in this account shed light on a subject that is rarely written about, the on-going struggle of the Native American and reservation life. Outstanding book that I'll read twice!
