The book is exactly what the title says it is. There are lots of Dilbert comic strips used as examples for Adams’s humorous commentary on life in the corporate world. The best parts of the book are the real emails Adams gets from fans describing the absurdities in their own companies. It’s a light, quick read, but the realization that much of what Adams makes fun of in Dilbert is actually true of many corporations makes me a bit sad

I decided to read this book after having read "The Dilbert Future" and many comic anthologies written comprised by this author. I enjoy the humor used by Scott Adams, the author. He is always poking fun at human nature as experienced from within an office setting. In this book, Adams is observig office life as it is in the present (as opposed to the futuristic view of "The Dilbert Future"). I would recomend this book to anyone who is a fan of this comic strip, this author, or even the show "The Office". I related this book to the show at several times because the goings-on are similar in both workplaces.

Really funny book...some of his observations about work are so true! Wanted to buy all my office mates a copy of the book...wanted to throw a copy at my boss!

    In one word...Hilarious!

The Peter Principle states that capable workers are promoted until they reach their level of incompetence...this is what he attributed the lack of knowledge and logic of the management to. The Dilbert Principle, on the other hand, states that the incompetent workers are promoted to management without ever passing through the temporary competence stage!! :)

The book is just 26 chapters of sheer comedic brilliance...Scott Adams takes his highly popular comic strip to another level by writng a book about it! The only serious part( if you can call it that) of the book comes right at the end in chapter 26 (OA5) where he gives the readers marginally sound advice!

Note: People not working in the corporate world would probably not like this one!

The initial chapters of the book were very funny and something that people could directly relate to but after about two thirds of the book. It got a bit dull and repitative. Still, its a good read for the fans of Dilbert and/or Scot Adam's blog.

Decent book but you cant read it cover to cover. Its a kind of book which you would like to read 4-5 pages when you are free.
