Terrible book. All of the characters speak in essentially the same voice regardless of their backgrounds, the incidental characters are barely even one dimensional and the story is packed full of unrealistic coincidences.

I wonder how this book would have fared had it been originally...

Terrible book. All of the characters speak in essentially the same voice regardless of their backgrounds, the incidental characters are barely even one dimensional and the story is packed full of unrealistic coincidences.

I wonder how this book would have fared had it been originally published a few years later...

My faith in Robin Cook has been restored. The past few books I've read of his were getting very weird and way too much the same. This is one of his better titles!

Interesting anthrax/botulism thriller that takes place in NYC. A fast paced page turner ... with a decent ending.

Usually I do not read Robin Cook. The books make me skirmish, talk of all the disease and everything. But this is one book I really like. It has the twists and turns of an adventure novel and less of all medico jargon.

I really hope it's not that easy to create biological weapons. If it is, holy crap! Not bad but not great either!

Among all the Robin Cook's I've read, this one is just mindblowing. Makes you feel that the next time you sneeze, your dead.
