Calculus... This is the foundation for all of engineering innovation. I loved calculus and I think Steward did a fine job conveying the material. Although, a few more examples would have made it more digestible.

Didn’t Like It

I did not enjoy using this book at all. The problems require a bit of intuition and do not directly relate to the examples. I understand that the text is meant to be presented as complementary to a lecture. However, I feel that a book at this level should be comprehensive in teaching concepts. Too much time was required in racking my brain to figure out how to solve problems because it was not outlined properly in the associated examples. I feel that the author assumed that anyone at...
