have you ever been intrigued by isolated or abandoned places--whether they be lonely plateaus in the middle of the desert or abandoned houses? we can't help but come across places like that sometimes. we suspect that these places hold mysteries--but we'll never know, will we? daniel hecht seems to be able to pluck this 'sense of intrigue / curiosity' or 'wondering instinct', and incorporate it into his cree black mysteries. he gives us heaps of these 'invicible' mysteries while standing...
