So you always questioned the Roller-Coaster ride of emotions that you thought your mind took you for eh!
That sudden rush of blood to a single or different parts of your body in a moment of desperation (Adrenaline) or the ones that come across as simple aka grief, elation, sorrow, contempt et al yet so complex.
Always wondered if it was merely psychological or scientific?
Steven Johnson, through his own experience portrays the whole phenomenon as a result of the numerous chemical...

Didn’t Like It

I had to put this book down unfinished after struggling to read it over the course of several months now. He presents his ideas in the most repetitive of ways. His examples are only mildly illustrative, and I kept thinking to myself with every turn of the page: 1.) When is this going to be over? 2.) What, if anything, did he actually say with those 100 or so words on this past page? I will continue to seek out and read these "psychology for the masses" books because overall I do enjoy them....
