I had a love/hate relationship with this book. The mother was too much for me and as a former babysitter, much of the book was hard to swallow. That said, I couldn't put it down.

If I were the nanny I definitley would have tried to poison the mother. The video in the teddybear is just over the top creepy.

okay, I have now finished it,,, I really enjoyed it. Very upsetting at times, I really felt for the wee guy. I gather from previous comments that the movie does not do it justice.

While over all a good read I was disappointed in the ending. There was no "big tell off;" it was simply a whimper. I know most things in life end in a whimper, but sometime it really should end with a bang this should have been one of them.
