• Pita Malarkey: The baker boy who loves Kantkiss Neverclean. He is known as "the boy with the head" because of his large head.
• Kantkiss Neverclean: The main character and narrator who isn't smart.
• Buttich: An old Hunger Games victor who has a gambling problem.
• Effu Poorpeople: Kantkiss and Pita's advisor for things like ettiquette who has a Jamaican accent
