“Read for a book club. The book was hard for me to get into at first because I had trouble finding something to like in the main character. And despite many misadventures in the book, opportunities for humor were always missed. In the end, but I was proud that of the main character for sticking with her quest, but it was a much less inspiring read than it could have been. The book was good for a book club, because it drove a lot of discussion. But I would not recommend it as a good read otherwise. ”
