“Naatalie Goldberg describes her early painting efforts, the conflict she felt about the place of painting within her writing career, and her realization that she is actually both painter and writer. Musings about her parents, travels, and lessons she picks up from observing other artists, combined with her bright, colorful illustrations make this an entertaining and thoughtful art book.”

Goldberg's art is wonderfully quirky and not always great, but she has heart and shares her simple writing style to compliment the art pieces.”
