Didn’t Like It“not my usual read, but fairly entertaining. Story starts off slowly, but picks up and is enjoyable. The ending seemed forced, or potentially anticlimactic.” see full review » see other reviews » |

Or if I had I didn't remember him. Alot of the story takes place in the Xibalba, there are nine levels of this place. There are demons who want Ren dead. And when he shows up with Ixkib The Guardian Kateri Avani on the run they will try to kill her before she keeps the prophecy that she doesn't even know about.
This Book is so jammed packed to lead up to the information that Kateri needs to save the world from doom.
Along the way we get to see other Dark-Hunters help save the day. Even Ash and Nick make an appearance.
I enjoyed the book. I loved the story that takes place of romance between Ren and Kateri. Well worth reading...”
“The book was not my favourite. Usually S.K. writes really good books, but I felt like this was not one of her best. There were too many flashbacks and sometimes they would be timed badly such as in the middle of a love scene. I skipped a lot of the flashbacks after a while because I got tired of hearing about them in the middle of a plot I wanted to have go along, though I know those memories were meant to give the reader more insight into the character. I will go back and reread some of the parts I did miss however.”

Kateri needs to embrace her native culture and believe in herself enough to reset the Mayan calender and save the world. She is not able to do this with out a whole lot help, but the biggest help comes from the evil crow shift changer Ren. Ren embraces his true self and finds that he is truly good amoung mankind and with that is able to help Kateri. ”

Thought the story didn't flow well - to disjointed.”
