- Thorne: Leader of the Warriors of the Blood, he's essentially Endelle's second, left Second Earth to find Marguerite who left him after she was released from the convent in which she was imprisoned for a century.
- Marguerite: Powerful Seer, has been in a relationship with Thorne during her imprisonment at the convent, she left him the minute she was free of the confines that the high administrator of the convent leader put on her, turns out to be his breh.
- Endelle: Supreme High Administrator of Second Earth, commander of the Warriors of the Blood, she is a very old ascender with immense power and ability. She has a very dominant personality and rubs most people the wrong way, she also has a thing for wearing outrageous furs of all varieties.
